F2 Events

Upcoming Events:

• From 17th April 2001: Transatlantic Challenge
  A chance to try some more NASCAR-style tracks in the GPL F2 cars, which should be a lot of fun. This series we'll be trying Pro Short races as well, in the hope that it will encourage everyone to stay on the black bits. There are stil a few places if anyone wants to sign up.

Previous Events:

• 23rd April 2001: Kyalami F2 Pro Short test
• From 9th January 2001: British F2 Mini-Series
  The British F2 series provided a great start to UKGPL F2 racing with a 5 race championship run on all the British GPL tracks. All these circuits were used for F2 racing in the 60s, and they all have a great 60s racing feel to them. The racing was close, with Paul Harrington taking the series convincingly.
• 2nd January 2001: Watkins Glen F2 Warm-Up
  The new year saw the first ever UKGPL F2 race, won by the current man to beat, Paul Harrington, and the racing didn't dissapoint with the kind of close, clean driving everyone hopes for with F2 cars. Check out the results plus a quick race report.
